Core V4 rule: structural pivot comes from confirmed pre-trough resistance, while breakout stage reflects the CURRENT close. A prior breakout is downgraded when the latest price falls outside the healthy retest zone; independent swing touches replace inflated bar-count touches.

Why shadow mode first: Phase 2A ML was trained on the old detector population. V4 remains read-only until live classifications look sensible; production promotion must be followed by historical signal rebuild and ML retraining.
